Fridge Bridge is a UK-developed fridge shelf support project focused on a small but frustrating appliance failure: when the shelf may still be usable, but the moulded lug, liner fixing or mounting point that supports it has broken.

What is Fridge Bridge?
Fridge Bridge is being developed as an independent, no-drill shelf-support system. The first use case is repairing a broken fridge shelf mounting point by creating a new support point on a suitable area of fridge liner rather than relying on the damaged original feature.
A second use case is also under evaluation: using four accurately aligned Fridge Bridge supports to create support points for an additional correctly sized compatible fridge shelf where suitable factory fixings do not exist.
Why the project exists
A small failure can make a fridge feel broken
A snapped shelf lug, damaged mounting hole or failed liner support can make otherwise useful shelf space unusable even when the refrigerator itself is still working normally.
Replacement clips do not solve every failure
If the underlying mounting point is broken, another clip may still have nothing sound to attach to. Fridge Bridge is aimed at those harder mounting-point failures rather than replacing simple clips that still have a good factory fixing.

The product and project are called Fridge Bridge — two words. You may also see the domain written as fridgebridge.co.uk or the compact form FridgeBridge, but they refer to the same Fridge Bridge project.
The name reflects the intended function: creating a new structural “bridge” between a usable fridge shelf and a suitable support area when the original mounting feature has failed or is unavailable.
