Broken fridge shelf support or mounting point?
Fridge Bridge is being developed for the awkward failure where the shelf is still usable but the moulded lug, liner support or mounting point that held it has snapped, cracked or become unusable.
When the shelf is fine but the support point has failed
A refrigerator can remain mechanically sound while one small moulded lug, shelf stud, liner hole or plastic support fails. Fridge Bridge is being developed to create a new independent support point close to the original shelf position without drilling into the fridge cabinet.

What Fridge Bridge is not
If a cheap genuine replacement clip fits an intact mounting point, that may be the simplest solution. Fridge Bridge is aimed at the harder case where the mounting point itself is damaged or no longer usable.
No-drill shelf support concept
The current prototype uses a large adhesive-backed support plate and reinforced ledge. The goal is to transfer shelf load into a suitable area of fridge liner rather than back into the failed lug or hole. Adhesive choice, cold-temperature performance, surface preparation and long-term creep are all part of the engineering test programme.

Can a broken fridge shelf support be repaired?
Some failures can be solved with a replacement OEM support. Fridge Bridge is being developed for harder cases where the original mounting point itself is damaged, broken or unavailable.
Does Fridge Bridge require drilling?
The current design direction is no-drill and uses a controlled structural adhesive system on a suitable fridge-liner surface.
Will it fit every fridge?
No universal fit claim is being made. Compatibility will depend on liner material, local geometry, shelf position and the type of damage.
Is there a load rating?
Not yet. Public load claims will only be published after the relevant cold-temperature, adhesion, proof-load and creep testing supports them.
